Dr. James E. Bruns
Dr. Bruns attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa and the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii. He received his Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry. Having attended many postgraduate courses he has also been the recipient of the Optometric Recognition Award for several years. Many courses have been taken at the University of California at Berkeley to receive diagnostic and therapeutic drug certification. He is a past president of the Redwood Empire Optometric Society. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, Optometric Extension Program, and the Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce. He has been a member of Rotary International for several years. He is a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and is Board Certified in Vision Development and Therapy.
Dr. Maggie Francisco
Dr. Francisco was born and raised in the Bay Area and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. She completed clinical rotations focused in pediatrics and binocular vision, primary care, contact lens, and ocular disease. She is a fully-credentialed and licensed optometrist in the state of California and is a member of the American Optometry Association (AOA), College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), California Optometric Association (COA), and American Academy of Optometrists (AAO). She is also a provider for the InfantSEE program through the AOA. Her passion for pediatric optometry and vision therapy led her to complete a residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation at the Optometry Center for Vision Therapy in Austin, TX.
Dr. Lauren Rabon
Dr. Rabon attended University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology and Physiology. She then went on to complete her doctorate of optometry at State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. During optometry school, Dr. Rabon had the opportunity to work at Walter Reed National Military Hospital and Maryland Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Currently, she is a member of the American Optometric Association and College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Rabon is especially interested in vision therapy and rehabilitation! She is very excited to join North Bay Vision Center.
Dr. Tiffanie Yu
Dr. Yu graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. She obtained her doctorate of optometry at UC Berkeley and is board certified to treat glaucoma and ocular diseases. She completed a number of externships at the Crow Indian Health Service in Montana, UC Santa Cruz, Alameda County Medical Center, and Rohnert Park Health Center. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
